Sam Moyer-Kardos, the owner and creator of Double Denim Dude! is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. They started DDD when they were studying painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2015. They wanted to translate their illustrations into small objects, while also expressing their art. Their goal is to be as accessible and representative as possible. Double Denim Dude creates pride-based flair along with pronoun pins and apparel. It is important to the brand to create work that is inclusive to everyone that identifies within the LGBTQ+ community. Their mission is to share their queer voice through art and create a space of acceptance.
