Original Paintings by Local Artist Michelle ZeidmanMichelle Zeidman
Michelle Zeidman is an artist, avid traveler, and aspiring metalsmith born in CA and currently based in Seattle.
Her works are inspired by nature and all that is wild and free. Drawing and painting wild and endangered animals has allowed her to explore the depths of our planet while studying wildlife in their natural habitat. She has visited South Africa, Tonga, Thailand, the Galápagos Islands, the Great Barrier Reef, Yellowstone National Park, Mt. Rainier, southern Utah—and beyond.
While at home or abroad, each composition begins with a simple pencil sketch and evolves into a finished, hand-drawn or hand-painted original. It is her hope that, more than anything, the art inspires others to protect wildlife and fight for the conservation of wild places.
Each original work consists of watercolor and ink, is hand-signed, then matted for a full size of 12x15 with an 8x10 opening - some works are 9x9 with an 8x8 opening, as described in the drop down menu.
