Soap Dish . Spako Clay

Exclusive to Sfingiday.  Slab built stoneware soap dishes with teal glaze. Each soap dish is one-of-a-kind and features various stamped designs on both top and bottom. All dishes have three to four drainage holes. 3.5 x 5 inches, 1-inch tall.  No two are the same.

Handmade in Austin, Texas by Spako Clay.

All of Spako Clay’s ceramics are made in her studio in Austin, Texas.  Julie Spako works with high fire porcelain and stoneware that is fired to 2350 F. Each piece is a hand drawn original.  She loves to create a balance between the complexity of drawing with the simplicity of hand-built pottery.  All of her glazes are food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe. 

Please note due to the true handmade nature of the work it is to be expected that measurements are approximate and slight variations from these numbers are normal and speak to the beauty of individual craftsmanship.
