Follysome Prints is the studio of Mindy Schumacher, a printmaker and pattern designer in the Midwest.  Seeking to craft her surroundings by hand, she was drawn to the slow, thoughtful and antiquated processes of traditional hand block printing for textiles. In a remarkable way, she fell in love with the medium itself and it became a vehicle for expression. Many of her designs are for handmade clothing, accessories and home decor. Each folly found here begins with an original linocut carving, emphasizing the thoughtful processes of creating by hand.
