Handmade in Portland, Oregon by Clay Factor Ceramics.

Clay Factor Ceramics is a Portland, Oregon based ceramic studio creating handmade porcelain wares for the home. Forms are created in a boutique studio using an entirely wheel thrown method for creation from clay sourced locally in the Pacific Northwest and materials sourced in the west coast. Owner, Minu Oh found her path into clay as a college student in 2004, having explored multiple mediums ranging from woodworking, natural architecture, photography, digital media as well as traditional arts. The story goes that she half heartedly stumbled onto a wheel throwing class and never looked back. Minu might as well live in the studio since that's where she can be found every waking hour, but she is also a loving a mother to a Minecraft fanatic, a friend to few special folks, and loves to discover the natural landscapes of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
