Albertine Press is a letterpress print & design studio and paper boutique in Cambridge, Massachusetts run by Shelley Barandes, a sometime-architect who just loved paper more. Founded as a one-woman custom design studio in 2005, Albertine Press has grown to a team of nearly a dozen to produce a full collection of greeting cards, note sets, tote bags, and journals available at stationery stores and gift boutiques across the country and around the world.

Nearly all of their work is printed on 100% cotton paper. Though they chose it for its pillowy texture, thickness, and the beautiful way it takes an impression, cotton paper has the added benefit of being eco-friendly (reusing remnants from the garment industry). Once printed, their paper products are paired with recycled-content envelopes and packaged with compostable sleeves.
