As a labor and delivery nurse, launching a jewelry brand was a far cry from her current experience, yet Dana Mitchell felt driven to move into a more creative space and embrace the challenge of exploring an entirely new career. Merging her ambition with her love for delicate everyday jewelry, Mitchell launched adorn512 in 2010 with an assortment of unique, handmade pieces that were equal parts timeless and modern. The Adorn512 collection is comprised of handmade necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings made of 14k gold, gold-filled, sterling silver and semi-precious stones. Dana creates her jewelry from her own original designs and she is inspired by minimal, organic styles with clean lines. Her love for designing jewelry has led to an ever-evolving product line that is always relevant in the marketplace. Each piece is locally made in Dana’s studio in Downers Grove.
